Our oldest DNYT musicals group offers our older company members the opportunity to perform some of the most trailblazing, thought-provoking and inspiring shows that have taken Broadway and the West End by storm. The company is a safe place for every person, whose individuality is not only celebrated but actively encouraged. Rehearsals are fun, but require hard-work and commitment, as our reputation for creating performances of the highest quality is excellent. However, you don’t need to be the very best at singing, dancing and acting as our company is made up of people with a shared passion and enthusiasm for musical theatre and live performance; if this is you, then you will be most welcome!
In Term One, you will have the unique opportunity to meet and work with three professional performers who have experienced the trials and triumphs of working on stage and on-tour in West End musicals. With them, you will explore performance techniques and skills in acting, singing and dancing, which you will then develop further with DN’s own creative team, allowing you to grow your creative confidence both as an individual performer as well as part of the wider company. At the end of Term One, auditions will be held for the upcoming musical for performance in July 2024.
Terms Two and Three will be spent in weekly rehearsals culminating in a public performance spanning four performances at our home, The Nutshell.

Staff have up-to-date Enhanced DBS checks and at least one staff member is First Aid trained.
Membership fee includes: all levies, VAT and all production costs.
