The Discarded Nut Theatre Company's Adult Acting Group - THE WALNUTS -  are back with an incredibly exciting new opportunity for anyone with a love of performing and the desire to have some fun whilst working on a highly original project. We are looking for actors to be part of a weekly podcast serialisation where not only do you create the characters and devise the story but also record the performances for broadcast.

The dusty old Trelawny Parish Hall, home to the esteemed amateur dramatic group, The Wessex Players, is in desperate need of some love and restoration.  The same could be said of some of the group. Suitably weathered and needlessly grandiose, Alfie Wessex, founding father and artistic director unparalleled, unveils a glimmering new season that is sure to raise the proverbial bar and maintain the actual roof.

So, whether you want to act, write or simply use your imagination to help create some memorable performances, this is a unique chance to be part of an everyday story of theatre folk!
